The purpose of this project is to investigate the viability of exporting Altún brand red wine to two regions in Canada

The purpose of this project is to investigate the viability of exporting Altún brand red wine to two regions in Canada: Quebec and Ontario. In general, wines with Spanish origin designation are well considered internationally, regarding quality and prestige.  For many years, the beverage with the most consumers was beer, but if we analyze the market, we can see that the trend is losing strength and that is because wine  has replaced beer. We have two distribution companies that are responsible for placing our product to arrive to the consumers. The way to handle the goods is through two importing agents, who are the ones that will be responsible for all activity to be successful. Then the main characteristic that lets us choose  these distributors is the extensive experience that both have of the market and the services they provide.  The international contract trade, once the contracts and agreements are signed, will be made under incoterm CIP. Finally, the payment of the goods will be made through a documentary credit managed by Santander financial entity.
